Thomas P. Bleau, Partner

Thomas P. Bleau attended Framingham State College in Massachusetts where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1987. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne in 1990. While in law school, Mr. Bleau received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of criminal law. From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Bleau worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the Law Offices of Aidikoff & Kesluk in Beverly Hills where he gained significant experience in drafting pleadings and law and motion on complex litigation, including insurance bad faith, medical and legal practice, and business litigation. In 1989, Mr. Bleau participated in an internship with the Los Angeles District Attorney's office where he prosecuted court trials and preliminary hearings. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Bleau worked as an associate attorney for the Law of Aidikoff & Kesluk where he gained substantial courtroom experience in conducting many jury trials, court trials and arbitrations. In 1995, Mr. Bleau joined Martin Fox as a partner. He emphasizes his skills as a litigator and solving problems. Mr. Bleau has achieved remarkable success and notoriety as a trial lawyer and is A.V. rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Since joining the firm, Mr. Bleau has achieved significant notoriety for his passion in representing gasoline service station operators against major oil companies throughout the United States.

Martin R. Fox, Partner

Martin Fox attended the University of La Verne College of Law (part time while running his own business), where he received an American Jurisprudence Award for excellence. During law school, Martin also clerked for the City of Simi Valley City Attorney’s Office as an assistant in their inverse condemnation litigation. It was at the City that Martin learned large case management through his assignments pertaining to the large litigation matters. In 1991, Martin formed the Law offices of Martin Fox. Shortly thereafter, Thomas Bleau joined the firm which is now Bleau Fox.  During over two decades of practice, Martin has handled complex litigation involving hundreds of petroleum franchisees, wage and hour class actions (plaintiff and defense), employee misclassification cases,  real estate valuation cases, construction litigation (Martin still maintains his California General Contracting License), large interpleader actions, general business litigation, breach of contract matters (including real estate, purchase and sale agreements, leases, options to purchase, promissory notes, first rights of refusal, etc.). 

Martin particularly enjoys acting as general counsel to several large petroleum distributors advising and assisting on matters such as sales, acquisitions, employment policies, contracts and various complex business and franchise issues that arise on a daily basis.

Other Associates of the Firm

Ramshin Daneshi and Svetlana Lukyanov are associate attorneys employed by the firm. The associate attorneys of the firm work directly under the supervision of the partners and they are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. Attorney Samuel T. Rees, Esq. is an Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Rees has decades of complex litigation experience in matters ranging from employee misclassification to accounting matters.
